To prepare for your visit to one of our immunization clinics here’s what you need to know:
- Bring your child’s immunization record. JACOHD will be turning away and rescheduling those who do not bring their child’s immunization record.
- Appointments are strongly encouraged. Walk-in services may be suspended temporarily due to high volume during the month of August.
- JACOHD accepts most insurance plans. If JACOHD does not accept your plan or you are uninsured, they offer cash discounts. COVID-19 vaccines are always free.
- Please click on this link if you need a list of recommended vaccinations or of which vaccinations are needed for you or your child to be up to date.
- If you have any questions, please contact the nurses at the Jackson County Health Department at 816-404-6415 so that your questions may be answered.
