Raytown High Student Earns Silver in National FCCLA Competition
(Raytown, Missouri) Raytown High School student Gloria McClain earned a silver medal in the National Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Students Taking Action with Recognition (STAR) competition in the Professional Presentation event. This is the first time a Raytown High School FCCLA member has been selected to participate in the National STAR competition. The competition took place virtually this year.
Raytown High School FCCLA Sponsor Rochelle Netten shared, “Gloria was a very active, hardworking and dedicated member in the Raytown High School FCCLA chapter during the 2019-2020 school year. It is those same qualities that helped her to earn a silver medal for her National FCCLA STAR Event.”
Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America is a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students interested in family and consumer sciences.
