Raytown Quality Schools Strategic Plan

The Raytown Quality Schools Board of Education adopted the current strategic plan in August 2023. The RQS strategic plan is a living document and will be updated throughout the school year. Strategic planning plays a vital role in the continuous improvement efforts of an organization. It's the process of documenting and establishing the direction of your organization by assessing where you are and envisioning where you want to be. This plan was shaped by Raytown Quality School district stakeholders which include staff, students, families, and community members through a series of in-person and online listening sessions. In the plan you will see five vision areas - learning, teaching, leadership, professional learning and wider community. The plan outlines the district's commitment to every student and ensuring they are prepared for success no matter their chosen path.
