  • Photo of Mr. Terry Landers Vice President Mr. Terry E. Landers was elected to the board in 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014, and 2017. Landers currently serves as Board Vice President. He is a retired educator and administrator from the Raytown School District after 31 years. He is an active member of the Raytown Retired Teachers and School Personnel Association, and other organizations. He and his wife, Susan, are parents and grandparents of  Raytown South High School graduates. (Term ends April 2020)

  • Photo of Rick Moore Director Mr. Rick Moore was elected in 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014, and 2017 and previously served as Board President. He formerly served on the Raytown Board of Alderman, from 1989 to 1997. Moore works for the U.S. Department of Education as an Institutional Review Specialist, working with the financial aid departments of universities and post-secondary schools. He graduated from Raytown High School in 1981, and from Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, Missouri, in 1985. Moore is a Red Coater for the Kansas City Chiefs and a member of First Baptist Church of Raytown. He and his wife Robin, have three children, Ellis, a Raytown South graduate, Skylar, a student at Raytown High graduate, and Chancellor, who attends Raytown South High School. (Term ends April 2020)

  • Photo of Beth Plank  Director Mrs. Beth Plank was elected in April of 2017. She and her husband Aaron have four children; Abigail, Calvin and Gideon graduated from Raytown High School, and Maxwell currently attends Raytown High. She has been involved with PTA serving as President at Norfleet and Central Middle and on Raytown PTA Council in a variety of roles including Council President from 2013-2015. She has also been a part of the Community Advisory Committee in 2010-2011 and 2016-2017 and a parent representative for the Raytown District Refresh Bond Issue that passed in 2014. Plank attends Life Connection Church and works for Batts Communications in Raytown. (Term ends April 2020)

  • Photo of Bobbie Saulsberry  Director Mrs. Bobbie Saulsberry was elected to the board in April 2007, and re-elected in April 2010, 2013, 2016 and 2019. She served as President in 2009-2010. She is a SC/I Business Development Representative with Spire Natural Gas Company. She holds an Associates degree from Penn Valley Community College and served on the Growing With Pride Levy Committee. She is married to Johnny and their children all attended Raytown Schools. She currently has grandchildren in the Raytown Schools. (Term ends April 2022)

  • Rick Thode Photo Director Mr. Rick Thode, CPA, was elected to the Board in April 2019. He was elected to the Board in April 2009 and re-elected in 2010 where he served a three-year term. Thode is a retired CPA and Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. He holds an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Wichita State University. Thode and his wife, Sandy, have three sons, and all attended Raytown schools. (Term ends April 2022)

  • Photo of Amy Tittle Director Ms. Amy Tittle was elected to the board in 2006 and re-elected in 2009, 2012, 2015, and 2018. She is a retired teacher with 31 years in Missouri education and 25 of those years in the Raytown School District. Tittle also worked at the Mid-Continent Public Library. She holds a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a reading education specialist degree from the University of Missouri- Kansas City. Tittle is the founder of the Amy Tittle Professional Development Scholarship operated by the Raytown Educational Foundation. Tittle’s son, Bart, is an elementary teacher. (Term ends April 2021)

  • Photo of Rachel Board of Education Secretary Mrs. Rachel Johnston is in her third year as Board of Education Secretary. Rachel previously worked in the finance department, as the Director of Technology's secretary, and as Principal's Secretary at Raytown High School.
