Established in 1992, the Raytown Educational Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing grants, scholarships, programs and recognition to students and staff in Raytown Quality Schools. The foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of patrons, educators, parents, business and community leaders. The Board of Trustees volunteer their time, talents and resources to serve Raytown Quality Schools.
The Raytown Educational Foundation’s mission is to support unique programs that enhance the tradition of excellence in Raytown Quality Schools.
Raytown Quality Schools’ students will have opportunities and experiences that prepare them to be contributing members of the community.
Southland Center for Advanced Professional Studies (Southland CAPS) Education Exploration students earned top honors at the Missouri Educators Rising Competition in Columbia, MO on March 4 and qualified for the national competition in Washington D.C., in June.
Herndon Career Center Director Dr. Cheryl Reichert was selected as the Greater Kansas City School Counselor Association’s (GKCSCA) Administrator of the Year and Herndon Career Center counselor Nate Zier was selected as the GKCSCA Counselor of the Year.
The Raytown High School Jaywalkers and Raytown South High School Cardettes both earned top honors in the Missouri State Dance Team Association’s State Competition, Feb. 29 at the HyVee Arena in Kansas City, MO.
