Established in 1992, the Raytown Educational Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing grants, scholarships, programs and recognition to students and staff in Raytown Quality Schools. The foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of patrons, educators, parents, business and community leaders. The Board of Trustees volunteer their time, talents and resources to serve Raytown Quality Schools.
The Raytown Educational Foundation’s mission is to support unique programs that enhance the tradition of excellence in Raytown Quality Schools.
Raytown Quality Schools’ students will have opportunities and experiences that prepare them to be contributing members of the community.
The Raytown Educational Foundation is pleased to announce that through a partnership with Raytown Quality Schools and the Board of Education, the foundation will be gifting to graduating seniors the computer issued to them during high school. “REF is so excited to provide these computers to our students to assist them as they transition from high school,” said Martha Cockerell, Executive Director. Distribution will take place at the school district’s RSECC building, 10750 E 350 Highway, the following dates and times:

The Herndon Career Center Culinary team took second place out of 47 teams in the National ProStart Invitational Culinary Arts competition, which was held in Washington, D.C., May 8-10.
